No Tomorrow

Beautiful rose, a flower,
Birds singing,
A child giggles watching the puppy playing,
Life of joy,
Life of happiness,
Peace and calm, where did it all go?
Wilted flower a thorn to prick,
No rose, no birds or a child’s giggle,
Lost,
Gone,
Now full of sorrow,
Hoping today there will be no tomorrow.
