Eerie be this night tossed between worlds
Barb wire holds tight of my fate wake me
Blue Grey skys rise upon this fogged mist

Taunting black birds mimic my frozen fear
Desiring this virgin flesh craving to shred
Burying myself in pure memories safe haven

Slumbering she is swept off far away where
Into a distant miserable land of lost hope
Tombstones mark pathways for the forgotten

Rotting corpses strangle my breath to exist
Suffocating I gag upon deaths putrid maggots
Swarms of mothering black flies hover above

Wake me of this hellish nightmare she pleads
Weary for my life searching for a safe refuge
Terrified I can not voice lost between worlds

I used to be a big fan of horror. I still am, but mainly in the kind that makes you think and/or is unexpected. I started watching horror movies when I was still small enough to hide in the floorboards of the car ( at the drive-in), when watching "horrors of the black museum".

I know that "dates" me.

Nowdays, I prefer something like "The Grudge" over something like "Nightmare on Elm St.".

Anything that can make me jump or surprise me is good. Most things are too predictable now days, or , are just blood and gore for blood and gore sake.

THERE IS QUITE A FEW CHANNELS NOW THAT OFFER THAT
ON CABLE

AND HEY AWE HAH I KNOW THE DRIVE IN THEATERS
HAVE BEEN OUT OF BUSINESS IN LOS ANGELES
